More Subway Stations Are Getting Equipped With Wi-Fi October 18 2014

New York Governor Andrew Cuomo announced that wireless connectivity is now available at 40 additional underground platforms, including 11 in Manhattan and 29 in Queens.
It is the second expansion of the $300 million MTA plan to bring wireless service to the Subway system. It is expected that by 2017 all 279 stations will be online.
