Bugs Bunny at Lincoln Center January 23 2015

Classical music turns into something completely different when a certain Wascally Wabbit gets involved.
Whether it was Rossini's "The Barber of Seville" (known to us as "The Rabbit of Seville") or Franz Liszt's "Hungarian Rhapsody No. 2" (featured in "Rhapsody Rabbit") or the music of Richard Strauss and Tchaikovsky (we heard it in "A Corny Concerto"), we probably heard the music first in a now-classic cartoon.
Emmy Award winner George Daugherty, who conducts the KSO, brought the idea of a live symphony performing to classic cartoons to the stage with 1990's "Bugs Bunny on Broadway."

The concerts take place Friday, May 15, 2015, at 7:30 p.m.; Saturday, May 16 at 2:00 p.m.; and Saturday, May 16 at 7:30 p.m.
